Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

WhiteBoxForge ("WhiteBoxForge", "we", "us", or "our") is a brand operated by HarbingerScope LLC, a Texas limited liability company, based in Richmond, Texas (Greater Houston metro). Contact: contact@whiteboxforge.com.

2. What we collect

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide via:

  • Free audit forms (/free-audit and /audit-tool): full name, business name, email, phone number, and an optional description of what you need help with. We follow up by email or phone, and by SMS only if you check the optional SMS consent box (see Text messaging below).
  • Booking form (book.html): name, email, phone, business name, website URL, industry, goal description, timeline preference, language preference, optional notes.
  • Project intake form (intake.html): business details, goals, brand assets, competitor references, project logistics. Submitted only after engagement begins.
  • Email correspondence: any information you send us via email.
  • Analytics: anonymized site usage data (page views, referrer source). We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible or similar) — no individual user tracking.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your inquiry and prepare for our calls
  • To deliver the services you contract us for
  • To send you project-related communications during an engagement
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations (tax records, contracts)
  • To improve our website and services in aggregate

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with:

  • Cal.com — to schedule your booking call
  • Google Workspace — to receive emails and host calendar events
  • Stripe — to process payments (we never see or store your card details)
  • Government authorities — if required by law

All processors comply with GDPR and standard data protection practices.

Text messaging (SMS): if you opt in by checking the optional SMS consent box on our free-audit forms (at /free-audit or /audit-tool) or by replying to a message from us, your mobile number and SMS consent are used only to send you the WhiteBoxForge messages you requested — audit confirmations, appointment scheduling, and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, and consent are never shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for any purpose. 5. How long we keep it

  • Booking inquiries that don't convert: 12 months, then deleted
  • Active client data: for the duration of the engagement + 7 years (legal/tax retention requirement)
  • Analytics data: aggregated only, no individual identification, retained indefinitely

6. Your rights (US privacy laws — TDPSA, CCPA, GDPR)

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA, effective July 2024), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and where applicable the EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request a portable copy of your data
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of your data (we do neither)
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent

To exercise any of these, email contact@whiteboxforge.com. We respond within 45 days (TDPSA standard).

7. Cookies

Our website uses minimal essential cookies (for session management) and privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or third-party social media pixels.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security: HTTPS encryption, strong passwords, password manager (1Password), 2-factor authentication on all accounts. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients.
